The Railway Diagnostic and Monitoring Conference covers the topics Wayside Train Monitoring Systems (WTMS), diagnostics of infrastructure and vehicles and related areas such as Asset Management. The conference follows on two successful WTMS Conferences organized by Eurailpress in previous years, but the new edition will have an extended focus on monitoring and diagnostics in the railway sector.
Within the conference Austrian railway ÖBB will present their latest developments on a technical visit at one of the new train checkpoints. Further presentations will show how Brussels main station got fitted with pantograph scanners and how tracks and switches can be covered with sensor technology from Denmark.
These are only a few examples out of the two-days-program. It is expected that the conference will provide answers to the following questions: What are the latest developments in Railway Diagnostics and Monitoring Systems? What future prospects can be expected? And what has been the experience of users so far?
The conference will focus on systems monitoring the condition of rail vehicles and on systems monitoring infrastructure facilities. All presentations will be hold in English.
