WAYSIDE TRAIN MONITORING SYSTEMS 2018
Overview
That is the Wayside Train Monitoring already known today: Detection of flat wheels, train speed, overload, hot boxes, train profile measuring, pantograph monitoring – just to mention a few examples.
Beyond others Finland and Austria will present their newest developments in the field. Furthermore, the second European Conference for Wayside Train Monitoring Systems offers a look to future possibilities like acoustic or optic sensing. Here we are just seeing the beginning of future prospects.
The conference, organized by Eurailpress, will focus on systems, which are monitoring the state of rail vehicles and infrastructure facilities, for example switches or other technical equipment.
The dinner on the evening before this international conference will offer a good opportunity for networking. The conference will be conducted in English.
It is expected that the conference will provide answers to the following questions:
- What are the newest developments of Wayside Train Monitoring Systems?
- What can customers and users expect from WTMS?
- What future prospects can be expected?
- What has been the experience of users of WTMS so far?
