Railway Diagnostic and Monitoring Conference 2025
Overview
From data to insights: That was the topic of this year's edition of the Railway Diagnostic and Monitoring Conference (RDMC). The well-known and proven event format took place on 8 and 9 April in The Hague (Netherlands). In addition to presentations, discussions and networking opportunities, the programme also included a site visit to a ProRail wayside track monitoring installation on a main line.
The lecture programme covered both data collection on the infrastructure and in vehicles. In addition to the latest developments in sensor technology, the focus was on the question of how the collected data can be further processed and utilised in order to support business-relevant issues and create added value for infrastructure operators and fleet operators. Experts from the industry shared their approaches and experiences.
In addition, there was plenty of room for dialogue among the participants so that they could learn from each other's experiences. The event was addressed at decision-makers and experts from infrastructure operators, railway transport companies, fleet operators and maintenance companies as well as from industry and service providers who were interested in a data ecosystem in the rail sector.
